The organization of ECCE9-ECAB2 will select three prizewinners for the best posters presented at the congress. The winner of the first prize will receive an iPad, winners of the second and third prize will receive an iPad Mini. The prizewinners will be selected by a special jury, and the prizes will be handed out during the congress dinner. Candidates must be present to receive their prize in person, the prize of an absent winner will be given to the second runner up.
EFCE selects winners of Student Mobility Awards
An unprecedented five winners will each receive a coveted Student Mobility Award from the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE), to be presented at the 9th European Congress of Chemical Engineering in The Hague.
The biennial awards recognise the value of international mobility during the early years of higher academic study. They are awarded to those students who – through the combination of academic and cross-cultural experiences – demonstrate ambition, appreciation of international projects in chemical engineering and contribution to ongoing research.

Poster competition of the 3 EFCE Working Parties
Following the two previous editions of the European Congress on Chemical Engineering, a poster competition for postgraduate students will be arranged by the following three Working Parties of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering: “Chemical Reaction Engineering”, “Multiphase Fluid Flow”, and “Process Intensification”.
The theme of the competition is
"Intensified technologies for Multiphase Processes".
The best poster related to this theme will receive a cash prize of 1000 Euro and a certificate prepared by the EFCE Frankfurt office. The prize will be handed out during the Gala Diner.
The winner will be selected by a special jury consisting of one member from each of the three Working Parties
